In the name of God amen. I, James Taylor being in considerate --- and memory 
do make this to be my last will and testament in manner following.
Item. I give my son Hughes Owen Taylor the tract of land whereon I now live 
by estimation two hundred acres also one negro named MICAJAH.
Itme-My wife Ann Taylor be maintained on my estate during her natural life.
Item- At my wife’s desease, my will and desire is that my estate not yet 
given to Hughes O. Taylor is to be equally divided into 8 parts between:
1. daughter Charrity
2. son George Taylor
3. son Daniel Taylor
4. daughter Patty PITTMAN
5. daughter Betsy Adams, deceased-her children
6. daughter Mary WILL, deceased - her children
7. daughter Nancy CANNON’s children
8. son Hughes O. Taylor
