Almost everything Allison Harmon wrote in his adult years was written in green ink, as was THE GREEN BULLETIN from his Harmon Broom Co, it seemed to have been his trade mark. The Family Record Death Dates were recorded as follows: Entries #1, 2, 3, 4 by Ruth Harmon; #5 by W.Z. Harmon; #12 by Charles Powell Jr.; #13 by Ruth Harmon; #18 by A.F. Harmon and the last entry by W.Z. Harmon. The Bible was originally given as a gift from Magdaline (Pickering) Harmon to her granddaughter Ruth Harmon Powell. After the death of Magdaline, Ruth gave the Bible to her father Allison F. Harmon (Magdalines’ son). Ruth again received the Bible in 1970 after Allison passed away. Following Ruths’ death in 1978, the Bible became the property of her daughter Ann Powell, who later gave it to her brother, Tom Harmon Powell, in 1994.
