GREENE COUNTY, TN - DEEDS - John Lee and wife Agnes to Giles Parimore ----¤¤¤---- Conveyancer - John Lee and Agnes, his wife, (to) Giles Parimore two hundred twenty acres on the south side of Chuckey River Registered in Greene County Deeds Book Book 6 and Page 253 This indenture made this 7th day of December, in the year of our Lord, one thousand seven hundred and ninety three, between John Lee, of the County of Jefferson and southwestern territory of the United States of America of his one part, and Giles Parimore, of the County of Greene and the territory of aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said John Lee, with Agnes his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds, the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained, sold, granted, aligned, and confirmed unto the said Giles Parimore a tract of land situate, lying and being in the County of Greene aforesaid on the south side of Chuckey River. Bounded as follows, viz: Beginning at (D) a pine tree, near to Sherrels Road and corner to Joel Matthews, thence with a conditional between said Lee and Matthews, south thirty nine degrees west, one hundred and twenty poles to a white oak and hickory corner to said Matthews, then with a conditional between said parties, south sixty nine degrees west, 88 poles to a pine tree, Matthews beginning corner, thence west one hundred and one poles to ( C ) a white oak. Thence north two hundred and eleven poles to a stake on a pine ridge, thence to a direct corner to the beginning. Containing two hundred and twenty acres of land together with all ways, woods, water, water courses, mines, minerals, improvements, advantages, emoluments. Hereout amends and appurtenance to the said land with revision and revisions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues, profits thereof. To have and to hold the said bargained premises together appurtenances unto the said Giles Parimore, his heirs, and assigns forever and the said John Lee, with Agnes his wife, for himself, his heirs. He doth by these presents covenant and grant to have and to hold the said Giles Parimore, his heirs, on the above bargained premises, are an indefeasible estate of inheritance in fee simple, unto the said Giles Parimore, his heirs, and assigns forever, and the said John Lee, with his wife Agnes, shall warrant and forever defend by these presents in witness whereof the said John Lee, with Agnes his wife, hereto set their hand and affix their seals the day and date first above written in the presence of us.
