GREENE COUNTY, TN - DEEDS - Giles Parman Senr to Emanuel Parman ----¤¤¤---- Conveyance - Giles Parman Senr (to) Emanuel Parman for 219 acres of land on the south side of Chuckey River Greene County Deeds Book 9, Page 507 Dated 20 February, 1813 This indenture made this twentieth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and thirteen, between Giles Parman Senr, of the County of Greene, of the State of Tennessee, of the one part, and Emanuel Parman, of the County and State of aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth thou the said Giles Parman for, and in consideration of, the sum of eight hundred dollars, the receipt thereof is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained, sold, guaranteed, aliened, and confirmed unto the said Emanuel Parman, a tract of land situate laying and being in the County of Greene aforesaid, on the south side of Chuckey River, bounded as follows, viz, that is to say, beginning at D, a pine tree near to Sherrells Road and corner A, Joel Matthews, then with a conditional between said Matthews and John Lee, south thirty nine degrees west and one hundred twenty poles to E, a white oak and hickory corner to said Matthews thence west on conditionals between parties, south sixty nine degrees west, eighty eight poles to E, a pine tree, Matthews beginning corner, then west one hundred and one poles to E, a white oak, thence south two hundred and eleven poles E, a stake on a pine ridge, thence on a direct course to D, the beginning. Containing two hundred and nineteen acres and a half land, be the same more or less, together with all ways, woods, waters, water courses, mines, minerals, improvements, advantages, emoluments, hereout amends and appurtenances of the said land with the revision and revisions, and remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof. To have and to hold the said bargained premises together with the appurtenance unto the said Emanuel Parman, his heirs and assigns forever and the said Giles Parman for himself, his heirs, doth by these presents, covenant and grant to and with the said Emanuel Parman, his heirs, in the above bargained premises are an indefeasible estate of inheritance in fee simple, unto the said Emanuel Parman, his heirs, and assigns forever, and the said Giles Parman shall warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof the son of Giles Parman, have here unto set my hand and affix my seal, the day and year of wit above, written in the presence of us Gilbert Woolsey Giles Parman Senr.
