White This Indenture made the thirty day of January in the yeare of Our Lord One thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty nine between Richard White of the County of Green in the State of Tennessee of the one part and William S. White of the County and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnessith that the said Richard White for and in consideration of a certain sum hath granted, bargained, and sold and by these prisents doth grant, bargain, sell alien, enfeoff and confirm unto the said William S. White a certain tract or parcel of Land situate liying and being in the County of Green and State of Tennessee on the headwaters of the Clear fork of Lick Creek, adjoining the lands of said Richard White, Benjamin Prector & Others. Containing one hundred and nineteen acres be the same more or less butted and bounded as follows, Vis. Beginning at the head of a large Spring. Thence West 65 [degrees] North sixty poles to a White Oake North 61 [degrees] East sixty five & a half poles to a stubble Chestnut in a Lane South 35 [degrees] East thirty four poles North 40 [degrees] East fifty seven poles to a Persimmon tree thence 34 [degrees] South thirty four poles to a Chestnut. Thence North 45 [degrees] East thirty six poles to two Chestnuts, Thence North four poles to a White Oake & Spanish Oake and Black Oake. Thence North 36 [degrees] East seventy three poles to a Black Oake on Grimslys Line Thence South with said line forty poles to a Poast Oake on a ridge. Thence East forty one poles to a White Oake Thence South ninety two poles to a Stake in Rectors Line thence West eighty six poles to a White Oake & grim. Thence South thirty two poles to a Stake thence West thirty seven poles to a Hickory thence South thirty degrees West twenty eight poles to a Red Oake on Powells Line thence with same west fifty poles to a make & Red Oake Thence North thirty six poles to a large White Oake Rectors corner thence a direct line to the beginning. Together with all woods ways, water courses, mines and minerals. Appurtenances, rents, profits, interest, claims or demands to have and to hold the same with every part and parcel thence of only use and behoof of him the said William S. White his heirs and alsigns forever and I the said Richard White my heirs Executors or Administrators will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid premises to the only use and behoof of him the said William S. White his heirs or alsigns from the lawful claim or claims of all and every person or persons Whatsoever both in Law and Equity.
