PIERCE and JAMES BURCHELL of the County of Hamblen, and the State of Tennessee, are held and firmly bound unto the State of Tennessee in the sum of Twelve Hundred and Fifty Dollars, to which payment, well and truely made, we bind our heirs, executors and administrators, and each and every one of us and them, both jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. The Conditions of the above Obligation is such, That whereas, F.C. PIERCE hath prayed and obtained a License to marry--MABLE TRAVISE: Now, if there shall not hereafter appear any lawful cause why the said F.C.
