                      Carper Cemetery

The Carper Cemetery is located twelve miles northeast of Chattanooga. 
Follow the Cleveland Pike to Silverdale which is twelve miles to the 
right. The Cemetery was moved when the new Hospital was built, there 
being twenty or thirty graves which are all moved. The land was 
donated by Mr William Carper, but is now owned by Hamilton County.
