The Lovelady Cemetery is about twenty miles north of Chattanooga 
on the Dayton Pike. It is two miles south of Soddy. The land for 
the cemetery was donated by Jerome Lovelady. The oldest marked 
grave is seventy seven years old, but there are about twenty 
unmarked graves and some appear to be older. 

DIRECTIONS: From Chattanooga, take US27 North to Sequoyah 
Access road. Turn right onto Sequoyah Access Rd. At Dayton Pike (second
red light), turn right. About one mile down the road, turn left
at Loop Road. The cemetery is located at the corner of Loop
Road and Dayton Pike.
