The land was established as a cemetery by Zeb and Green Lawson. In the 1940's, the land was donated to the community by Eschol Morgan. The cemetery grave markers was transcribed by the WPA in the 1930's. Cemetery location: From US 27, turn on Daughtery Ferry Road; turn left on Shipley Hollow Road; turn left on New Providence Road; and turn left on the first driveway, continue past a house on the left (currently the residence of Grady Francisco). The cemetery is located on the left. The following records were transcribed from tombstones located in the cemetery in 1977 by Eschol and Gladys Morgan. These records were verified in 1996 and most subsequent burials were added in 2007.
