                       Shelton Cemetery

The Shelton Cemetery is located thirty miles northeast of 
Chattanooga. Follow highway # 27 north to Patterson Road 
twenty six miles, taking the road right and going east 
four miles to the 'old' Shelton farm. The land was 
donated by Mr J D Shelton and the Ingle heirs, and 
is owned by same. There are about one hundred
unmarked graves, some being very old.
