                         Thurman Cemetery

The Thurman Cemetery is located three miles south of Chattanooga. 
Go south to St Elmo three miles to Powell's store, and to the left for one block. The land was
given by Mr Elijah Thurman in 1873, he being the first person buried there in 1873.
