                       Wallace Cemetery

The Wallace Cemetery is about twenty miles north of Chattanooga. 
It lies about two miles southeast of Soddy on the Hixon Pike. The 
land for the cemetery was donated by J A Wallace around the year 1830. 
The oldest marked grave is ninety seven years old but there are about 
thirty graves that are not marked and some of
them go back as far as 1830. (McRee Cemetery prior to 1830) in pen beside name.
