She was then living in the home of her son-in-law. George Gregory lived in Cocke County and was 75 years of age in November 1832, therefore born about 1757. He was a native of Germany. He enlisted in Meckenburg [sic] County, N. C. He died in Cocke County, Feb. 20, 1837. The marriage took place in South Carolina in 1792. An original page of the Family Bible is enclosed in her application giving me children as follows: Catherine, born 1792; Richard, born 1795; Margaret, born 1801; Sarah, born 1805; Thomas, born 1812; Luncinda, born 1815.
