JUDY SPEER

  Judy Darolyn (Newport-Verhoeff) Speer, 59, of Harrison,TN, died on Thursday, 

February 22, 2007.

  She was a member of the Lutheran faith and was the owner of Changes Hair 

Salon. She was a graduate of Central High School. Judy loved the outdoors and 

she enjoyed camping, nature and animals.

  She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Carson Newport, Sr.

  She is survived by husband, Larry Marion Speer, of Harrison; two daughters, 

Darolyn Helena Christina (Verhoeff) McConnell, of Atlanta,GA and Denike "Niki" 

Julia (Verhoeff) Warden, of Johnsboro,IL; son, Dirk Rutger Carson Verhoeff, of 

Dalton,GA; mother, Julia Mae (Ertman-Newport) Lytle, of Montgomery,AL; five 

grandchildren; and a brother, Earl Carson Newport, Jr., of Las Vegas,NV.

  The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2007 at 

the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

  A private Memorial service will be held at a later time.

  Memorial contributions may be made to the Chattanooga Nature Center, 400 

Garden Road, Chattanooga,TN 37419

  Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
