This bible was published in 1866 in Philadelphia by John
Edwin Potter.  This bible was in the possession of Joseph William Chandler
for many years and then in possession of his wife after his death.  Joseph
William Chandler was the grandson of Joseph J.  Sanders, the original
owner. (On the front inside cover, in very faint writing, " My Daddy's,
Deasey Sanders.") After Joseph J.  Sanders, it came into the possession of
Deasey Ann Sanders Herriman, his daughter.  She is the one who entered most
of the family information.  After her death, it was passed to her half-
sister, Atilla Gerome Sanders Chandler, mother of Joseph William Chandler. 
She entered information about her children.  The information relating to
Joseph J.  Sander's parents and siblings was entered at a much later date
by Mrs.  J W Chandler, which she obtained from a Sanders family member.

Following is exact wording found in script penmanship.  This was entered
by Deasey SandersHerriman, daughter of Joseph J.  Sanders:

J.  J.  Sanders and Miss Nancy Temples has married August the 9th day of our Lord 1865.
Joseph J.  Sanders and Miss Atilla G.  Sanders has married March the 29th 1874.
J.  B.  Herriman and Miss Deasey Sanders was married the 5th day of
February in the year of our Lord 1890.
J.B.  Herriman (Jas Barren) bornd October the 25th 1868.
J.J.  Sanders was bornd the 11th day of March in the year of our Lord 1843.
Nancy Sanders was bornd September the 4th day of our lord 1845.
James T.  Sanders was bornd July the 28th day of our Lord 1866.
Deasey A.  Sanders was bornd the 29th day of August AD 1868.
Joseph A.  Sanders was bornd November the 15th AD 1870.
Atilla G.  Sanders, Jr.  bornd April 28th 1877.
Nancy Sanders, wife of Joseph J.  Sanders died the 27th of December 1873,
age 28 years, 2 months and23 days.

Tillman Chandler Died Feb 1st 1923 J.  B.  Chandler, husband of Tillie G. 
Chandler was killed by a passenger train on the I.C.  Railroad,October 17,
1929.

Birdie Chandler was borned December 24th, 1901 
Bessie Chandler was borned February 2nd, 1903 
Lucille Chandler was borned October 5th, 1906 
Deacie Chandler was borned March 17th, 1909 
Victor Chandler was borned December 22, 1912 
Austin Chandler was borned July 31st, 1914 
William Chandler was borned January 19th, 1918 
Tillman Chandler was borned February 14th, 1922 

Following was entered at a later date by Mrs.  JW Chandler as given to her
by a Sanders cousin:

John Wesley and Elizabeth (Taylor) Sanders had following children:
