January 31, 1883 Respectfully returned to the Commission of Pensions, Thomas B Hicks, a private of Company A, 72nd Regiment Indiana Volunteers was enrolled on the 26th day of December 1863 at Lafayette, Ind., and is reported on roll for Sept & Oct 1864 (first on file) present Nov & Dec 1864. Absent sick same to April 30, 1865. Mustered out on individual muster out roll at Nashville, Tenn 25th July 1865. Thomas B Hicks was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic Department of Nebraska headquarters Casey Post No ?. Enrolled 25th day of March 1884. Thomas B Hicks applied for Pension 30th August 1882. Amanda Hicks, widow of Thomas B. Hicks applied for Widows Pension 18th August 1925 in Hardeman Co., TN.
