Bolivar Bulletin December 3, 1886
Gus Willis, the 13 year old son of Mr. Shed Willis, of the 14th civil district 

of this county, accidentally shot himself in the side of the face with a shot 

gun, while hunting the latter part of last week.  At last accounts he was 

doing very well, and it is thought he would recover,
