Mrs. Johns had been blind for 16 years prior to her death. She is survived by three children, two daughters and one son. The remains were buried Monday at Walnut Grove, funeral services being conducted by Rev. D.C. Young, of Bolivar, assisted by Rev. Mays, from Shackelford's Chapel. We extend our sympathy to Mr. George Ragon, who is a nephew of the late Mrs. Johns ------- Mrs. Johns was the wife of Thomas Jefferson Johns, and daughter of Dr. James Caswell Ervin and Sarah Elizabeth Herriman.
