Tiller. Respectfully inscribed to the parents of little Booker who died on the 2d of March, 1877: Just beyond death's rolling river, Where the weary are at rest, Thy little lamb is sweetly resting, There upon the Saviour's brest. He has left this dreary world, This world care and distress. Far away in heaven he dwells in peace. "Over there" you'll feel his caress. In the happy train of angels, There around the Saviour's throne, He now joins in songs of gladness, Where no sorrow is ever known. Dear friends then give this treasure up To him, from whom it was given. Then weep not, weep not, parents dear, Your angel babe's in Heaven. C.M.S.
