This Indenture made and entered into this 2nd Day of May 1829 between Henry 
Garner of Hardin County state of Tennessee & Abner Decker of Wayne County & 
state of Kentucky of the other part witness that the said Garner doth this day 
for and in consideration of One hundred Dollars in hand paid the Receipt 
whereof is hereby acknowledged Granted Bargained sold and hereby convey to the 
said Decker one Equal half of a certain tract of Land in Wayne County conveyed 
to said Garner & Peter Catron & by patent bearing date 30th December 1818 and 
bounded as follows, beginning at the ford of Beaver Creek at an ash and ___  
where John Stephenson's Beginning corner running with his line E 5 E 182 poles 
to a dogwood & Black oak & white Oak S 85 W 105 poles to a white oak in a 
hollow in George Decker's line Thence with his line _ 87 _ 47 poles to Black 
oak N 64 poles to a stake N 60 W 30 poles to a white oak on Beaver Creek N 50 E 
up the Creek and a cross to a stake 60 poles thence to the Beginning part of 
said land hereto for having been sold to Stephen Cagle supposed to be 50 acres 
now the said Garner for the consideration & do hereby convey to said Decker his 
undivided Equal part of he residue of said survey and do hereby warrant and 
defend the same to said Decker his heirs & against himself his heirs & all 
persons claiming by through or under him given under my hand and seal the date 
aforesaid.

Commonwealth of Kentucky Wayne county 2nd May 1829 I John Chrisman Clerk of the 
county Court for the county of aforesaid do certify that this Deed from Henry 
Garner to Abner Decker was this day produced to me in my office by the said 
Grantor and acknowledged by the said Garner to be his act and Deed whereupon 
the said Deed together with the forgoing certificate hath been duly admitted to
