State of Tennessee Haywood County Brownsville Town Sept 1850
Thomas F Lea came into open court and was appointed guardian of Eliza Lea 
residing in Tennessee and entered into a bond of $2000 with JohnPayne and 
Edward Gooding in trust for the minor child and commited to care of Thomas F 
Lea, Eliza is a orphan of John Lea deceased on Tennessee
