Beginning at a Chestnut in the South-west corner of Entry No. 2997 for 150 acres in the name of John Hill. Running thence East passing the South-east corner of said Entry at 147 6/10 poles, in all East 166 1/2 poles to a stake with 2 Black-oak pointers, Then South 126 1/2 poles to a Black-oak with Black-jack and Post-oak pointers. Then West 126 1/2 poles to a stake with Chestnut and Hickory pointers in Thos. Kinney's East boundary line. Then North passing his North-east corner, in all North 120 poles to a stake with 3 Black-oak pointers, the North-east corner of Entry No. 2998 for 75 acres in the (name) of John Hill. Then West 122 poles to a stake, with Post-oak, Spanish-oak and Black-oak pointers, the North-west corner of said Entry, Then North 46 1/2 poles to a Spanish-oak, Then East 82 poles to a stake with a Black-gum and Dog-wood pointers, in the West boundary line of said Entry No. 2997.
