Richard and Lucinda Hill. Fount Hill and Henry Hill were brothers. Fount's wife was Mary (Mollie) J. Kelton and Henry's wife was Mary (Mollie) E. Long. M. } KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that we FOUNT HILL and wife MOLLIE J. HILL and HENRY HILL and wife MOLLIE E. HILL for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars to us in hand paid and the other and further consideration of the love and affection we have for CORA BELL HARDY daughter of the said FOUNT HILL and MOLLIE J. HILL do hereby transfer and convey unto her the following described tract or parcel of land __ lying and being in the 1st civil district of Haywood County Tennessee and this more particularly described to wit. Beginning at two post oaks marked J. W. the south east corner of a 5000 acre entry in the name of JAMES WALKER from there west with the south boundary line of said WALKERS 5000 acre tract 320 poles to JAMES K. POLK'S boundary line passing his north east corner in all 320 poles to a stake in the east boundary line of said WALKERS 5000 acre tract thence south 300 poles to the beginning continuing 600 acres more or less the part herein conveyed being all of said 600 acre tract __and except 154 acres heretofore conveyed to B. A. POWELL by W. J. WATKINS and registered in Registers office of Haywood County Tennessee in Book 5 at page 272 and except 50 acres conveyed by deeds to J. C. GLENN by W. S. WATKINS and registered in said Registers office in book 8 at page 544 and excepted was conveyed by deeds TO F. K. POWELL by JOHN R. WATKINS and registered in said Registers office in Book 6 page 403, it being the same tract of land surveyed by deed to WM MILLER by JOHN D. STANDLEY of date the 18th Oct 1850 and registered in the Registers office of Haywood County Tennessee in Book P at page 126. To have and to hold into the said CORA BELL HARDY for and during her natural life and at her death to go to and be the absolute property of her children or any other than may hereafter be born as equal tenants in common. We covenant that we are lawfully seized and possessed of said lands, that the same is unencumbered and that we have a good and perfect right to sell and convey the same and that we will forever warrant and defend the title to same against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
