Hill were sons of Rev. Richard and Lucinda Hill. John Henry's wife was Mary E. Long and Fountain P.'s wife was Mary J. Kelton. Richard Hill died February 1900. _________________________________________________________________________ Henry Hill & wife } To Deed } Fount Hill } Filed 28 Apr 1900 } 11 oclock A.M. } KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that we HENRY HILL and wife MOLLIE E. HILL for and in consideration of the transfer and conveyance by FOUNT HILL and wife MOLLIE J. HILL to the said HENRY HILL of a ½ undivided interest in 423 acres of land made simultaneously with this deed. We hereby sell, transfer and convey, release and quit claim unto the FOUNT HILL the ½ undivided interest of the said HENRY HILL in and to the following described tract of land. Lying, being & situated in the 1st Civil District of Haywood County, State of Tenn. and this more particularly described __ 1st tract. Beginning at a stake with black gum & dog wood pointers 40 poles North of the S. W. corner of entry No. 2997 for 150 acres in the name of JOHN HILL running North 163 2/5 poles to a stake with 2 chestnut and red oak pointers. Thence north 79 ¼ degrees West 71 1/5 poles to a stake in the Lick Branch with red & post oak pointers, thence South with said branch___poles to a stake in the middle of Estamaula and Wesley road; thence with said road North 65 ½ degrees West 18 poles and 20 links to a small post oak & black oak pointers, thence South 158 ½ poles to a stake, 2 black & white oak pointers. Thence East 100 poles to the beginning containing 105 acres more or less, being same tract of land bought by RICHARD HILL of THOMAS RICE, Nov. 15, 1873. 2nd Tract. Beginning at a stake dogwood pointers on the South boundary line of entry No. 1918 made in the name of M. A. JOHNSON for 200 acres runs thence West 147 poles to a stake post & red oak pointers, thence South 108 ½ poles to a stake, maple & sweet gum pointers. Thence East 147 poles to a stake and post oak pointers in JOHN CROOKS line, thence North 108 ½ poles to the beginning, containing 100 acres more or less & being same tract purchased by RICHARD HILL of JAMES H. FORD & wife on Dec. 18th 1876, deed to which is now of record in the Register's office in Deed Book 5, page 483. To have and to hold to the said FOUNT HILL, his heirs & assigns forever. We covenant with said FOUNT HILL that we will forever warrant & defend the title to said above described tracts of land, to him the said FOUNT HILL, his heirs & assigns forever against the lawful claims of any and all persons claiming under us.
