Goodman } Filed January 30th, 1862} at 2 o'clock P.M. } Deed Book Z, page 412 } This agreement or Marriage Contract made and entered into by and between Charles Mulherrin and Nancy H. Goodman this first day of January 1861, Witness that the said Charles Mulherrin is to have the control and Management of all the negro slaves and other property belonging to and in the possession of the said N. H. Goodman excepting her Real Estate for and during the natural Life of the said Chrles Mulherrin unless he should out live said N. H. Goodman in which event all of her property of every __ and description shall revert and pass to her heirs and Legal Representatives but the said C. Mulherrin shall have the right to the profits and hire & Labor of salves during Natural Life of both parties to this agreement but no Longer and it is further agreed between the parties that in the event the said C. Mulherrin should die first then at his death N. H. Goodman hereby agreees to forfeit and release any right she may or can have to dower in the Estate of the said C. Mulherrin both real & personal.
