CHRISTIAN CHAPEL CEMETERY

Henderson County, Tennessee



            This is a moderate size cemetery at Christian 

Chapel Church of Christ in the northeastern section of 

Henderson County. It is well maintained. It was overcast on 

all three of my visits to this cemetery. In the notes below, 

toward the road is used as an arbitrary north in any 

directions provided. This cemetery was recorded December 27, 

1992; updated December 23, 1997; and checked and updated 

November 18, 2001. It is a difficult cemetery to record 

because many rows are uneven, are not parallel with adjacent 

rows, and are not continuous across the cemetery.



            Brenda Fiddler recorded this cemetery circa 1975. 

Her record appears in Henderson County, Tennessee Cemetery 

Inscriptions (Memphis, R. H. Harris, 1976), Vol. III, pp. 503-

506. This earlier work is referred to as "Fiddler" in the
