JUDSON CEMETERY

Henderson County, Tennessee



            This cemetery is located at Judson Church in the 

Middleburg community of Henderson County. It is maintained 

very well. David Donahue recorded this cemetery initially on 

February 12, 1991; updated it May 5, 1997; and checked and 

updated it January 21, 2002. There seem to be very few 

unmarked graves.



            Mrs. Robert A. Lewis and Brenda Fiddler recorded 

Judson cemetery circa 1975. Their record appears in Henderson 

County, Tennessee Cemetery Inscriptions (R. H. Harris, 

Memphis, 1976), Vol. III, pp. 487-495. This earlier work is 

referred to as "Lewis and Fiddler" in the notes below. The 

record of Judson Cemetery by Lewis and Fiddler is one of the 

best in the 1976 cemetery book. There were few omitted graves, 

most dates were complete, and most relationship information 

was recorded. Lewis and Fiddler reported at least 50 unmarked 

graves.
