HENDERSON COUNTY, TN - CEMETERIES - Pearson Cemetery ========================================================================= David Donahue, the creator of this file, declares it to be in the public domain. ========================================================================= PEARSON CEMETERY Henderson County, Tennessee To reach Person Cemetery, drive west from Parker's Crossroads on Rock Springs Road about two miles to Pearson Cem. Lane, which will be on the right-hand/north side. Drive to the end of the lane. There is a gate leading into a cow pasture. The cemetery is at the top of the hill and has a second separate fence. The cemetery is not maintained but it is well shaded and not badly overgrown, so you can walk through it and view the markers. There are three antebellum markers and several more from the 1860s and 1870s. Last marked burial was in 1913. David Donahue recorded this cemetery October 14, 2003. Bobbie Pierce and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Pearson recorded this cemetery circa 1976. Their record appears in Henderson County, Tennessee Cemetery Inscriptions (R. H. Harris, Memphis, 1976).
