HENDERSON COUNTY, TN - CEMETERIES - Rock Hill Cemetery ================================================================================ David Donahue, the creator of this file, declares it to be in the public domain. ================================================================================ ROCK HILL CEMETERY Henderson County, Tennessee This is a well-maintained community cemetery located on Road Hill Road east of Lexington. It seems to date from the 1890s and may have originated as a McPeake family cemetery. There are very few graves without markers. This cemetery was recorded March 23, 1996 and checked and updated October 7, 2003. Anita Webb and Betsy Patterson recorded this cemetery circa 1974. Their record appears in Henderson County, Tennessee Cemetery Inscriptions (R. H. Harris, Memphis, 1976), Vol. I, pp. 231-237. They estimate "at lest 6 unmarked graves."
