Nash, ******************************************************************************** The following is transcribed from the original papers found in the boxes of Court House papers currently being sorted and filed at the Central Community Service Center Building in Paris, TN: This Indenture made this ___teenth of November in the [year] of our lord one thousand Eight hundred and [t]wenty Eight Betweent William Nash John Pierce James Guffe and Ephram Williams all of the county of Henry and State of Tennessee of the one part and Peter Kindall of the county and State afforesaid[?] of the other part witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred Dollars him in hand paid before the sealing and securing of these presants the right and payments of is hereby fully acknowledged and the said William Nash John Pierce James Guffe and Ephraim Williams both given granted bargand Sell ___ and confirm unto the said Peter Kindall his heirs and assigns for ever one certain Tract or parcel of land being a part of a five hundred acre tract granted to John C. Mc lemore and conveyed to the said Wm Nash John Pierce James Guffe and Ephraim Williams Lying and being in the said county of Henry Twelvth ___ Surveyors district Sixth Range of the Seventh sec! tion Begining at a poplar with a poplar and Maple pointer the north west of the tract of which this is a part Runs East one hundred and [Sixty Six poles is written and then crossed out] Ninteen poles thence stake[?] with two Red oak pinters thence South Sixty Six poles to a stake with a poplar pinter thence west one hundred and Ninteen poles to a stake in the west boundry boundry line of the said tract In which this is a part thence North Sixty six poles to the begining containing fifty acres more or less to have and to hold the said afforesaid Land with all and Singular the rights profits emoluments heraditaments appertininces of in and to the same[?] belonging or in any wise appertaning to the only proper use behoof of him the said Peter Kindall and his heirs and assigns forever the said William Nash John Pierce James Guffe and Ephram Williams for them selves their heirs or assigns that the before noted land Land and bargained & promise they will warant and forever def! end against the right title intrust or Claim of all and every person w hatsoever in witness where of we have here unto set our hand and affixed our seals this day and date above written.
