McEvoy Funeral Records FHL # 2027893
Berry P. Alexander, Special to the Tennessean: Paris, TN, Sept 19.
Mr. Berry P. Alexander, aged 87 years died here at 6 o'clock Friday afternoon
and was buried at 2 o'clock Saturday pm at Mill Creek: services by Dr. S.T. 
Spaulding of the Baptist Church. The deceased was the father of Dr. W. P. 
Alexander of Farmington, Ky., Mrs. John Atkins of Puyear and Dr. L. L. 
Alexander of this city, all of whom survive him. Mr. Alexander was born in 
this county about the time Paris was laid out in 1822
