Derek McFarland

The funeral service for Derek McFarland of Paris was at 4 p.m. Sunday at 
Ridgeway Funeral Home.
William C. Dunlap, Clyde Sulcer and James Woodall officiated. Burial 
followed in Olive Branch Cemetery in Northwest Henry County.
Named as pallbearers were Marc Moore, Adam Jackson, Sean McFarland, Billy 
Gaskins, Albert Thompson, John Wayne Broomfleet, Daren Gaskins, Jacob 
McFarland and Marty Mikeska.
McFarland, 32, died of Heart Failure Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at Henry County 
Medical Center.
Born April 25, 1980, in Paris, he was the son of Donna Kay McFarland Gaskins 
and the Stepson of Billy Gaskins of Paris, also the Biological son of Jacob 
Dee Kirkendoll of Oklahoma. 
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Paris.
He also leaves one Brother: Daren Gaskins of Paris; (2) Sisters: Cassie 
Kirkendoll and Brandi Kirkendoll both of Indiana; a Step Sister Andrea 
Bailey Caldwell of Paris: a special friend: Valerie McAllister of 
Clarksville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other special relatives.
