From Gainesboro take Hwy 53 toward Granville. Turn left on Flynn's Creek Road then right on Dry Fork. Go to Wheeler Hollow and turn left. Go up a hill to a red metal gate on the left which is locked. Go up the hill in the direction to the left a mile or more, after going through the gate. At the top is a cemetery with big trees and limbs in it. Cemetery dimensions are probably 30 X 50. On past the cemetery is an old house. This is the home place of Dudley Brown. Ray & Margaret Hix was kind enough to take Reda Bilbrey, Mitzi Freeman and Bob & Donita Morris to several cemeteries on 10 Apr 1999. Mitzi and Donita are coping cemeteries that involve the Brown Family for a Web Site. This Small Family Cemetery is full of graves marked only by field stones. Margaret Hix said Dudley Brown is buried here with a slate stone to mark his grave. Tree limbs were lying on graves.
