Added Jan 6, 2003 by Doyle B. Marsh Until March 2000, Noah H. Hawkins burial spot had never had a tombstone. I and other descendants purchased a monument and had it erected in the Old Pharris Cemetery in March of 2000. His tombstone reads: Noah H. Hawkins. December 8, 1847 September 12, 1923. His first wife's full name before marriage was Mary Ann Davidson. However, only Mary Hawkins appears on her tombstone. Beside Mary Hawkins' grave is a simple field rock. There is no name on it but it marks the spot where Noah H. Hawkins and his wife, Mary Ann, buried a male son who was born dead and un-named.
