The boats are running regular and every body is happy. Dr. S. B. Fowler went to Cookeville last week to do some difficult surgical work. Putty's steam sawmill, located near J. H. Stafford's, two miles south of town is running full time and cutting some nice lumber. Mrs. Sarah Ann Butler, widow of the late Thomas harvey Butler, died in the home of Mr. Apple, near Granville, Tuesday morning, after a long and painful illness of several months. She was a most es---mable lady and many friends will mourn her departure. She was 66 years of age, and the oldest member of M. E. church. She leave five children: B. A. Butler, of Gainesboro; thomas and Sam--l Butler of Nasville, Miss -attie Butler and Mrs. W. E. ragland of Granville. ***********************
