Hollemon, keeping sheep killing dog, guilty, $10 and cost. State vs Sam Wheeler, Bob Dixon, Neal Davenport, Byrum Cisco, Alfred Carver and Charley Carver, disturbing public worship in seperate cases, all nollied on cost and taxes. State vs Geo. Johnson, carrying pistol, two cases, $50 fine, cost and taxes in each case. State vs Tom Pryor, tippling, acquited. State vs Willie Meadows, carrying pistol, noilied on cost and taxes. State vs _________ Johnson, assault to kill, compromise, defendant to secure cost. State vs john Sircey, disturbing public worship, aquitted. State vs Q. Jackson, tippling. 30 days in jail, $10 fine and work house sentence. State vs Dan Brummitt, tippling, three cases, 6 mo in jail, $10 fine and work house sentence in each. State vs Bill Anderson, gaming, not guilty. State vs Killis Rawley, carrying pistol, $50, cost and taxes, and 60 days in jail. Also for lewdness, $10, cost and taxes and 60 days in jail. State vs March Spurlock, giving whisky to minor, not guilty. State vs James West, contempt, not guilty. State vs W. H. McCoin, carrying pistol, fined $50, cost and taxes. State vs Albert Rawley, gaming, not guilty State vs. Dillard Pharris, first case fined 1 cent and cost and taxes and 30 days in jail, second case noilied on cost. State vs John Hix, tippling, nollied on cost. State vs Richard Brooks, carrying pistol, $50, cost and taxes. State vs Willie Harris, carrying pistol, $50, cost and taxes. State vs Loundon Brummitt, tippling, 90 days in jail. Appealed. State vs M. F. Young, malicious threats, not guilty. State vs James Jackson, tippling, fined 1 cent, cost and taxes, spcired/ State vs Tom Mee, tippling 4 cases, 6 months in jail and cost, work house sentence. Two pistol cases $50 fine, and cost and work house sentence in each. State vs Henry McBride fined 1 cent and cost and workhouse sentence. State vs Oscar Dewease (Bread Wagon) tippling, fined $10 and cost in one case and one cent and cost in another. Work house sentence. State vs Ricard Kinnaird, tippling, fined one cent and cost. Secured. Wayman richardson, charged with attempting to murder his wife, was allowed to make bond for his appearance in the sum of $500. J. P. thornton was granted a divorce from Sarah Thornton , Mary Davis from Wm Davis and Ida Britton from J. L. Britton. The regular jury was discharged Thursday, the Grand Jury Tuesday afternoon. About 40 indictments were returned. Judge Smith left for his home at Sparta after adjourning court Tueday afternoon. The divorce case of Emma McCoin vs W. D. McCoin came up in the circuit court last Monday on a petition to allow plaintiff $500 for temporary alimony and was ably argued by counsel. Judge Smith decided that $400 would be sufficient and so decreed. ********************************
