Pillow. ********************** Mr. Frank Lee Anderson and sister mary of Union City, were visiting friends and relatives at Gainesboro this week. ************************* Hon. T. M. Gailbreath has been compelled to suspend an interesting school at sugar creek on account of sickness. Hope he may soon recover. **************************** Mr. A. N. Kirkpatrick left Tuesday for Texas. -----has been one of our successful merchants and we predict a prosperous future in his new home. *********************** Mrs. McCauley, widow of uncle Jack McCauley and sister of Geor. M. Ray dec'd has been afflected with paralysis, but is some better. ************************* Mat Anderson, eldest son of Jas. A. Anderson, has been prostrated with flux more than two weeks, but is now recovering. *************************** Mrs. Armistead, wife of C. B. Armistead of Nashville, died on 23rd of last month, and their infant ------(((rest cut off))) *************************** TOBACCO TAX Calvin Jackson, of 1st ------dist this county was tried Saturday at this place by U.
