JACKSON COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Andrew Denton 1933 ----¤¤¤---- Sentinel, May 24, 1933 ANDREW DENTON, 56, who lives on the farm of C. E. Hackett on Bullards Creek was found hanging from a limb of a tree about 11 Am Tuesday morning. Mr. Denton was working in a field near his home and about 10 Am came to the house for water. He returned to the field and at 11 Am his wife called him to dinner. He did not respond and she went to the field to see if anything was wrong and found him hanging from a tree limb. He had taken a plow line, tied it around a limb and dropped off. Help was summoned and his body taken down and removed to his home. Mr. Denton has suffered for several years with high blood pressure and rheumatism. and the condition of his health is advanced as the reason for his rash act. He leaves a wife and three children, Ernest Denton, Mrs. Hazel Minchey and Miss Gladys Denton. Besides these four brothers; Roe, George, Vance and Dock Denton; two sisters; Mrs. Sarah Kernel and Mrs. Nan McCawley. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon by Rev W. M.
