During the week of March 19-24 he was a member of the county revenue commission and assisted in auditing the books and making settlement with the county trustees. The remains were conveyed to his home Sat. morning accompanied by his brother, Ira, who had been at his bedside since Thursday. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Henry Cook and four brothers, George, Bob, Mont, and Ira Dixon, all of the 14th district. Prof. Dixon was the son of John Dixon, deceased of Salt Lick. Early in life, he chose teaching as his profession.
