This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Catherine Trumm ==================================================================== Jackson Co, Sentinel Wed, Oct 17, 1928 Dixon, Bob Mr. Bob Dixon, a well-known and influential farmer of the Salt Lick section of this county, died at his home Monday, Sep 15, 1928 at 2 o'clock following an illness of only a few hours. Mr. Dixon was stricken with neuralgia on Saturday and his suffering was intense to the end. He was 73 years old and had spent his entire life in this county where he was held in high esteem as a good citizen and christian gentleman. He is survived by his wife and several children. Funeral was conducted at Camp Ground with internment in the cemetery near.
