He was 85 years old. He was born and reared in Jackson County and was a member of the Church of Christ. He was married to Miss Martha Hensley, who preceeded him in death Jul 21, 1935. He is survived by five sons and four daughters; Thomas Perry and Jay Maberry of Nashville; Jeff Maberry , Mrs. Louis Martin, and Mrs. Cook Allen of Gainesboro; Wesley Maberry and Mrs. Earlie Harris of Granville; Mrs. Will Black of Nashville; and forty-five grandchildren, fifteen great grand children. Funeral services were conducted by Eld. John W. Fox, Burial was in the Byers Cemetery near Gainesboro.
