A. died at the home of his sister; Mrs H.G. Young Tuesday morning, Feb 8 at 6 o'clock, following an illness of five days of pneumonia. Mr. Rawley was 62 years old and has spent practically all of his life in and around Gainsboro. He has been proprieter of a Barber Shop in Gainesboro for the past three or four years and was always to be found at his place of business ready to serve in a pleasant and courteous manner. He is survived by his wife and several children, two brothers, and four sisters and a large circle of friends and relatives. The body was taken to his home seven miles from here on the Cookeville Pike Tues afternoon and internment will be in the Byers Cemetery. ********************** Jackson Co, Sentinel, Wed, Jul 13, 1932 Rawley, Martha, Mrs. Mrs. Martha Rawley, widow of late D. A. Rawley, died at her home near Gainsboro Saturday morning, following an illness of pneumonia aged 60 years. Six children: Mrs. W.M. Pullum, Mrs. Charles Allen, Mrs Tom Haney, Mrs Bill Pippin and Kirk and Killis Rawley are left to mourn the loss of their mother. In addition to the children, 4 brothers and one sister, Mrs. Mary Newman of Nashville; Walter and Lige Steward of Toute 3 and many other friends and relatives to mourn her death. Funeral was conducted by Tom Denson of Nashville and John W. Fox with internment in the Byers Cemetery.
