Ballenger Registered May 6th day 1861. Know all men by these presents that I Lee Ballenger of the County of Caldwell and State of Missouri have made constituted and appointed and by these presents do make constitute and appoint Andrew J. Ballenger of Jefferson County and State of Tennessee for me and in my name to demand ask sue for Collect and receive all sums of money debts and demands of every kind whatever which are due oweing(sic) and payable to me from the Estate of Abijah Trodgdon Deceased of which Estate I am an heir, and I authorize my said Attorney to give good and sufficient receipts therefor giving and granting unto my said attorney full power and authority to do and perform all and every thing that may be requisite to draw my interest in said Estate as fully to all intents and purposes as I might or could do if personally present hereby satisfying and confirming all my said attorney may do or cause lawfully to be done in the premises.
