The Court Appoints John D. THORNTON
Overseer of a Road of 2nd Class, Leading from
Sevierville to Newport. Beginning at the Cocke County line and working to
the Sevier County line

and assign to him the hands on the following farms, to work said Road,
to-wit: W.C. HILLS, N.P. HILLS, Jas. S. HILLS, Elias GRAYS,
widow Jane TAFFE, Barnabas THORNTONS, Jesse B. THORNTONS,
Jno W. MCANDREWS, Samuel PROFFETT, James H. WILLIAMS,  TE?
A.J. LEWIS, Aron SMITH, A.J. WEBBS, widow Sarah WEBBS,
Andrew WEBBS, James H. HOLBERTS, and the small wood farm
