William Brazelton & Wm. H. Moffett to Aaron Ballenger 
Registered 5th April A. D. 1841.
This Indenture made and executed this fifth day of April 1841.  Between Wm.
Brazelton and Wm. H. Moffett of the one part and Aaron Ballenger of the other
part all of the County of Jefferson and State of Tennessee. Witnesseth that
the said Brazelton & Moffett for and in consideration of the Sum of One
hundred and Seventy two dollars to them in hand paid by the said Ballenger.
The receipt and payment whereof is hereby acknowledged.  The said Brazelton &
Moffett hath and by these presents doth Bargain sell convey and confirm unto
the said Ballenger a certain piece or parcel of Land lying and being in the
County of Jefferson adjoining the lands of David Haworth & others containing
Fifty acres be there 5 acres more or less being a certain piece of Land
conveyed to Wm. Dick as Trustee by Samuel Box on the 30th March 1838. To
secure a certain sum of money due Brazelton & Moffett and described in said
Deed of Trust as a Certain tract of Land conveyed to said Box by W. McDowell
by Deed bearing date the 25 August 1831.  As testament to said Deed will in
and fully show corners and distances.  The said Brazelton & Moffett doth
hereby obligate themselves to Warrant and defend to said Ballenger the
forgoing described tract of Land against the lawful title claim or demand of
any person or persons whatever either in law or equity.
In Witness whereof the said Wm. Brazelton and Wm. H. Moffett has hereunto set 
their hands and seals day and date above Written.

                                        A Deed of Conveyance from William 
Brazelton and William H. Moffett To Aaron Ballenger for a certain piece or 
parcel of Land lying and being in the County of Jefferson adjoining the Lands 
of David Haworth & others Containing fifty Acres being a certain piece of Land 
conveyed to Wm. Dick as Trustee by Samuel Box 30th March 1838 bearing date the 
5th day of April 1841.  Was presented before me Joseph Hamilton Clerk of the 
County Court of Jefferson for acknowledgement and there upon Came William 
Brazelton and William H. Moffett the Bargainors with whom I am personally 
acquainted and acknowledged the same to be their act and deed for the purposes 
therein contained.  
Witness my hand at office in Dandridge the 5th day of April A. D. 1841.
