Abner & Abijah Trogden Deed To Solomon Trogden & Alce Ballinger Registered April 25th 1849 Know all men by these presents that we Abner Trogdon and Abijah Trogdon for and in Consideration of the sum of Two Hundred Dollars to us in hand paid by Solomon Trogdon and Alce Ballenger the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted Surrendered in fee of and by these presents doth grant surrender and in enf(e)off unto the said Sollomon Trogdon and Alce Ballenger their heirs and assigns all their Right interest claim or demand which we as heirs of Zekel Trogdon decesed(sic) may have to have one undivided tract or parcel of Land Belonging to the aforesaid Zekiel Trogdon late decesed(sic) as aforesaid it lying and being in the County of Jefferson and State of Tennessee on the South Side of holston River a(d)joining the lands of John Tucker, Joseph Dyer to have and to hold the same to the said Sollomon Trogdon and Alce Ballenger their heirs and assigns Containing Seventy two acres with all the Remainder or remainders rents issues and proffits(sic) of their undivided parts of the above named tract of land surrendered with the appurtenances to the proper use and benafit(sic) of the said Sollomon Trogdon, Alce Ballanger their heirs and assigns forever, in Witness thereof we have here unto set our hands and seals. And delivered in } the presence of us } Abner Trogdon (Seal) Aron Ballanger } Henry Allsup } Abijah Trogdon (Seal) Jackson Ballinger } State of Tennessee } Jefferson County } A Deed of Conveyance from Abner Trogdon and Abijah Trogdon to Sollomon Trogdon and Alce Ballinger for their interest to one undivided Tract or parcel of Land as heirs of Zekiel Trogdon Deceased lying in the County of Jefferson State of Tennessee on the South side of Holston River adjoining the lands of John Tucker & others Containing Seventy Two Acres bearing date the day of was presented before me James Fuller Clerk of the County Court of Jefferson for probate and thereupon came Henry Allsup and Jackson Ballinger the subscribing Witnesses thereto who being duly sworn depose and say that they are personally acquainted with Abner Trogdon and Abijah Trodgon the Bargainors and that they saw them sign seal and execute the same Witness my hand at office in Dandridge the 9th day of April A.
