Henry Allsup to Aron Ballenger Registered April 28th 1855.

This Indenture made and executed this 21st day of September 1852 Between Henry 
Alsup of the County of Grainger and Ballenger of the County of Jefferson 
Witnesseth that whereas on the 11th day of April 1849.  The said Henry 
Allsup & the said Aaron Ballenger purchased from Solomon Trodgen & Jackson 
Ballenger a certain piece or parcel of Land lying & being in the County of 
Jefferson and in the 7th civil district in said County forty five acres 
more or less Which deed to said Allsup & Ballenger has been duly proven & 
Recorded in the Registers Office in Jefferson County to which for corners & 
distances reference is had.  And the said Henry Allsup for & in consideration 
of the sum of One hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Aron 
Ballenger the receipt & payment whereof is hereby acknowledged The said Allsup 
hath & by these presents doth grant bargain sell convey & confirm unto the 
said Aron Ballenger his heirs or assigns forever, all his interest claim or 
demand is and to the whole or any part of the land purchased by said Allsup & 
Ballenger from Solomon Trogdon and Jackson Ballenger, and hereby vests the 
full Title in said Aron Ballenger his heirs or assigns.  And the said Allsup 
hereby Guaranted to Said Ballenger a Good Warrantee Title to his said part of 
said Land.  In Witness whereof the said Henry Alsup has hereunto set his hand 
& seal date above Written,

Jefferson County   }          Personally appeared before me James M. Nicholson 
Clerk of the County Court of said County aforesaid Jackson Ballenger and 
Charles W. Warren subscribing Witnesses to the within Deed and after being 
first sworn depose and say that they saw him sign seal and Execute the same 
upon the day it bears date.  
Witness my hand at office in Dandridge this 17th day of April 1855.
