Holston River. DEED. J. R. McNish to Aaron Ballenger This Indenture I made and executed this day of March 26th 1869. Between J. R. McNish of the one part and Aaron Ballenger of the other both of Jefferson County Tennessee Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and ten dollars in hand paid by the said Aaron Ballinger to the said J. R. McNish the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said J. R. McNish doth hereby sell transfer and convey to the said Aaron Ballenger a certain tract piece or parcel of land lying and being in Jefferson County Tennessee on the South side of Holston river adjoining the lands of B. F. McFarland and others. Beginning on a Hickory said McFarlands corner thence South to Buck Trogdens Black oak corner then with said Trogdons line, then North to McFarland’s Black oak corner Then East with McFarlands line to the Beginning supposed to contain seven acres more or less. It being the same land that David Wright entered and had surveyed in the month of August 1859. I J. R. McNish for myself and my heirs hereby warrant all the right and title that I have to the aforesaid described land to the said Aaron Ballenger and his heirs. Witness my hand and seal the date above.
