F. M. Ballinger Et. Al. To Sylvanus Ballinger Registered November 25, 1896. Know all men by these presents that we F. M. Ballenger and wife Julia Ballinger, J. M. Mills and wife Harriet Mills, I. F. Haworth and wife Leanah Haworth, J. T. Coile and wife Orlena Coile, J. J. Carter and wife S. E. Carter, and J. N. Coile and wife Martha Coile have this day Quit Claimed and released all the right title and interest we have in and to the following described tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Jefferson State of Tennessee, and bounded as follows, unto Sylvanus Ballenger and his heirs. Beginning on a Willow on the bank of the River S. 71. Crossing the Trogdens Ferry Road. 38 poles to a Stake on top of the bluff a corner to Lot No. 1. Thence S. 36. W 35 poles to a Stake in the wood on the line of Henry Ballenger with said line N. 46. W. 6 poles to an Ironwood, S. 63. W. 19 ½ poles to a rock near a small sycamore, thence N. 83 W.17 poles to a Sycamore on bank of River thence up the River as it meanders. 39 poles to the beginning. Ballenger & wife Julia Ballenger, with whom I am personally acquainted, and who acknowledged that they executed the annexed instrument for the purposes therein contained and Harriet Mills wife of said J. M. Mills, Leannah Haworth wife of said I. F. Haworth, Orlena Coile wife of said J. T. Coile, S. E. Carter wife of J. J. Carter and Martha Coile wife of J. N. Coile, and Julia Ballenger wife of F. M. Ballenger having appeared before me privately and apart from their said husbands acknowledged the execution of the said Deed to have been done by them freely voluntary and understandingly without compulsion or constraint from their said husbands and for the purposes therein Expressed.
