John Jacobs Deed to Samuel Jacobs for 100 acres of land.  Book O, page 371
 	Registered 17th September 1818.

This indenture made this 13th day of July one thousand eight hundred
nd eighteen between John Jacobs of the county of Jefferson and State
of Tennessee of the one part and Samuel Jacobs of the County of Jefferson
and State aforesaid of the other part.  Witnesseth that the said John
Jacobs for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars to
him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath
bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain and sell alieu
eufeoff? and confirm unto the said Samuel Jacobs his heirs and assigns
forever a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred acres
lying and being in Jefferson County on the North side of French Broad
River and bounded as follows, it being a part of two tracts of land 
Granted by the State of Tennessee to John Jacobs by Grants No. 1959
and No. 1958 and by the said John Jacobs to Samuel Jacobs.  Beginning
at a black oak on Thomas Jacobs corner on the line of a one hundred
and thrity acre survey from thence with the line of the said ?revened
south thirty five degrees west one hundred and twenty three poles to a
post oak, thence West fifty poles to a pine, thence North twenty four
poles to a pine, thence West twenty two poles to a black oak on the
two hundred acre line, thence North one hundred and seventy six poles to
a stone thence South forty two degrees east one hundred and four poles
to a pine on Thomas Jacobs line, thence south seventy four degrees East 
with said line eighty four poles to the Beginning with all and singular
the Woods, Waters, Water courses hereditaments and appurtenances
Whatsoever there unto belonging or any wise appurtaining and all the
estate, right, title, claim and demand of him the said John Jacobs his
heirs and assigns forever of in and to the same and every part and
parcel thereof either in law or equity to have and to hold the said
tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances unto the said Samuel
Jacobs his heirs and assigns forever against all lawful claim of all
and every person or persons Whatsoever Will Warrant and forever defend
by these presents In Witness Whereof said John Jacobs hath hereunto
set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year above Written.
